CELEBRITY Big Brother star Ian “H” Watkins came out of the closet last night — and told how he grew up as the only gay in his Welsh village.
The former Steps singer revealed his sexuality to The Sun as he prepared to enter the BB house tonight with 11 other celebs — including top model Danielle Lloyd.

Ian, 30, hid the fact he was gay from fans — even while having a ten-year affair with Steps’ male manager.

The paper confirms that Starsky and Hutch star Paul Michael-Glazer, A-Team actor Dirk Benedict and former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd will take part, and has added five more names into the equation.

Jackson Five member Jermaine Jackson, former Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins, TV presenter-cum-politician Robert Kilroy-Silk, former child prodigy Lauren Harries and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty will all also enter the house on Wednesday, according to the report.

Former Spurs and Chelsea defender Jason Cundy and his wife Lizzie are set to become the first couple on Celeb Big Brother.

I can't believe he has only just come out now. I thought he did that a long time ago. Was he fooling anyone? ;D He should be entertaining. He seemed very spoilt on a program he did a while ago.

I am totally shocked that Ken Russell has been allowed to even be on this programme if his first appearance is anything to go by. He seems completely out of it.. is he drunk, he is nuts, is he even with us at all?? I can see a lot of complaints coming in for sure ...

Jermaine Jackson I still cannot come to terms with either..hes such a lovely talented man, but clearly from another planet..he is not going to like having to touch things that other people have used...he does,nt like germs apparently....

Cleo Rocas was a lovely surprise, I remember watching her with Kenny Everett, he was an old queen but I adored him...all seems so long ago now... Leo Sayer lived up the road from my Aunt which I did,nt know until much later on.. He has huge hangups about his career... I do feel sorry for Leo because he had to come out as a novelty act to break the market originally, and after I dont think he was ever seen as a teen throb sex symbol or anything like. He has in my view no real chance of reviving his career despite Thunder in my Heart being released as a Dance Hit recently...but seeing him is nice as it brings back an era that was important to music and how life used to be...

.....I wont be hooked though, because en masse this lot are boring as hell... but hey, thats just my opinionated opinion.. lol.

Looks good so far. I like the look of quite a few of the housemates, though that could change!!! Not sure if it will hit the heights of CBB3 and CBB4, but then again I didn't expect last years to be that good either... and I'm sure BB will stir things up.

The rumoured Jade twist just sounds bizarre though!

Looks quite a fun mix, apart from Jermaine Jackson and Ken Russell who looks like he expired years ago.

Jo O'Meara (O'Mara?) seems nice and Cleo Roccas still looks great and is as mad as ever.

I wonder if any noticed Davinas hairstyle... it was the exact pull back pony tail look that Aisleyne has adopted in her Nuts shoots...as well as how she wore it on occasion in the house.

I have never seen Davina with that hairstyle, I wonder if Ais is making this fashionable again..Rebecca Loos also wears her hair in a high back pony.


People are also suggesting that Donny Turrettes ( Not sure of the spelling of his surname) pulled his arm away from Davina roughly at one stage too...he seemed to be agitating people in the crowd throwing up two finger Vs and being quite hostile...I expect they will end up loving him for that if he is a rebel..


I also see that this lot go to bed early too....its 1.10AM and they are all in the bedroom that I can see.

I noticed Davina's hair, but didn't immediately think of Ash. But now you mention it.....

I deliberately didn't watch that Donny bloke's entrance because of his spitting in his introductory vid. I hate that.
Of course he might turn out to be a pussycat.

I thought exactly the same! It would have been funny to see Davina's face if her stylist said "We're going for the Aisleyne look tonight"!

Donny was apparently drunk. In any case he's a perfect candidate to be chucked out the door at the earliest opportunity

I'm not liking Carole much either. Mainly for her views but I haven't seen much else to endear me to her either.

I'm loving Dirk Benedict. He's my favourite at the moment

I also like Jo, H, Shilpa and Danielle (not sure what the boos were for )

This lot don't seem to have the edginess that previous years have had. I think the show needs to have some Pete Burns and Jackie personalities to spice it up.

I like Carole and I think I will be pleasantly surprised by Jermaine.

Oh and Aisleyne pulls off the hair far better than Davina does.

Loving Cleo so far. The sight of her putting Donny's jeans through the mangle just made me go "Aww!"

I absolutely love Donny!

He is the only one who makes it entertaining and my mate knows his drummer and says he is basically a good lad.

Mind you Cleo is a lovely lady.

I bet Ash would get on with Donny and Cleo.

My favourite so far is Shilpa. She is beautiful and intelligent and also makes an effort with everything she does. She is also the only one that is a real star in my eyes.

The one's that have raised a question mark are Jo, Carole and Donny. Jo for being a little bitchy and Carole thinks far too highly of herself. Donny is just a rude child. And I've also got my eye on Cleo and Danielle. There's something there that just doesn't seem real with those two. I can't put my finger on it yet.

Jermaine, Dirk and the rest of the men seem okay, although I do wish Leo would stop talking over people. It's going to get very annoying.

I like Jo and Leo so far.
I am glad Jade has gone back in, i think shes ace. Shes so funny, its interesting about the whole family thing. But i dont like the servants, i wish they would have kept it like normal. It would have much more interesting. Jermaine, Ken and Shilpa didnt even know who she was

As I look over OHs shoulder I see class distinction becoming a problem with Shilpa and Jermaine v Jade and her lot.

Shilpa has a problem with Jade and has taken Jermaine aside to point 'some things out' and clearly does not regard Jade and her family as Celebrities..Jades mother unfortunately has the Shabaz...I- am -going -to -talk- to -myself -at -night- when -everyones- in -bed ...syndrome.. so that will create a few comments if she decides to continue with that night after night....

Jade already slipped up with one of her famous mis-pronunciations which was corrected by Shilpa. Jade apparently told Shilpa that she (Jade) was 25th InFULential person in Britain instead of saying Influential...poor Jade. She already appears to realise she is having to stick up for herself as a Celebrity...this being only the tip of the iceberg from what I can see...

...this could all be a bit...tricky.
