Have to admit I've been watching a bit more telly recently, what with CBB and the singing duos on BBC1, but I'm not about to forget to visit this place. No Sirey! (or Madamey ))

Hello All, I have been announcing that I have a very nasty cold and on antibiotics at the moment. I really did want to pop in earlier but it did,nt work out. I am usually here most days, posting something silly or just generally answering posts. I love talking to everyone here and have got to know some of your names now. If there is not a lot of Aisleyne news, dont worry, just do some fun things like post in the silly thread in Chill out or post some pictures...or even create a chat thread in CHILL OUT...as long as we are all communicating its the main thing.... sorry I missed some of you earlier. I know I will be around a lot more as from tomorrow evening... Keep posting guys....

Hi everyone! I notice on Digital Spy that the Nikki fans are doing a campaign to keep the Nikki Thread of Appreciation near the top of the forum lists. They are working together and posting absolutely anything on it to keep the forum from sinking. One of the posts was "got to keep this going through the night!" Seems a bit OTT but do you think we should do something similar for the "Operation Aisleyne" thread on DS?

If they post crap, the mods may lock the thread

Hi everyone -
It's only natural that things will quieten down a little while CBB is airing. It's been quieter on Site generally since Wednesday, when CBB started.
Regarding more members. Less than one in five visitors to the Forum are actually members; it's not uncommon to see 12-15 guest browsing the forum at times, especially on weekdays. Daily unique visitors to the forum have always been around the 1,000 mark (and have approached 1,500) since the Site launch. Site visitors are already well ahead of expectations - the majority of visitors read news, look at Galleries, etc.., and don't enter forum.
Plans are well advanced which should encourage those guests to become members. Unable to say anything more at present, but there's plenty afoot.
What's much more important is that Aisleyne is still in great demand. Ash has done several photo shoots which are due to be appearing in the press shortly. However, for obvious reasons, we can't add any to the Gallery until they've been published.

Thanks so much for the info. I had a feeling that the quietness was due to CBB and it's fantastic to hear that there's loads more Ash stuff still to come.

I wonder if Aisleyne's management have considered an EXCLUSIVE photoshoot for OA? I get the feeling it could still be sold on to other media outlets without losing too much value, as the numbers viewing on here are fairly small compared to More, Nuts, Daily Star readership. Just an idea. You'd get a boost in hits if news spread of exclusive content, I'd have thought

Thanks for your very timely and encouraging post, OA; the site statistics are very interesting.I'm pleased to hear that plans are afoot to incentivise the browsers to join as members! Pleased also to hear about the further photoshoots, too. Plus I was delighted to be able to post today about seeing the article in the new Love it! magazine, which conatins so much positive news about Aisleyne, especially the hints about the b/f and the radio show. Re the latter, does that mean we'll be hearing more details about that quite soon? I think the contrast between the "feast" of press appearances over Christmas/New Year and the relative "famine" of this last week (plus CBB5) is what has unnerved a few FMs. Really, OA, you don't need me to tell you that like the smallest light in a darkened room, a very tiny amount of solid information can have an enormous effect on dispelling the doubts and fears that can be caused by "the sound of silence" not to mention the effect of the kind of bilge that the likes of BaldRick and Lea have been spouting recently. I am sure that Claire and all at LWM recognise that too. I would especially like to see the Diary section have at least some "future appointments" content. I know there are all kinds of limitations and confidentialities involved, but just to see even cryptic statements like "glamour shoot" or "fashion shoot for a mag" or "attend launch/premiere of XYZ" would make a huge difference.

I agree with ofni. I'd also like to see a bit more information please. If we had been told about the Love it! interview a few days before publication, it would have saved ofni the embarassment of reading a women's mag in WH Smith.

LOL, maringo. Actually, if I'd known it was a launch issue, I'd have bought it and said to my wife "here you are dear, I've bought you this new magazine, it seems to be right up your street!" That's what I'll have to do now, anyway. Won't we all?

That's what I'll have to do now, anyway. Won't we all? I usually buy my magazines using the self-service system at Tesco, so there's no embarassment involved. However, with the new Love it! magazine, they didn't seem to have it at Tesco. I had to buy it from some bloke at WH Smith. Very embarassing! Hang on though... surely discussing this in front of all these people is far more embarassing? I think I'll shut up now.
