This thread is an offshoot of the Movida thread. Anyway, I found a Aisleyne interview from the Terry Turbo book launch... www.pyroradio.com/misc/?id=164 She mentions a part in Rise of the Footsoldier. Here's the IMDB page, no mention of Aisleyne yet... uk.imdb.com/title/tt0901507/It's another Gilbey brothers film (Rollin with the Nines) with an official site... www.riseofthefootsoldier.com/The website states, "We start filming on Sunday 10th December and finish on Sunday 4th February."

Let's hope this is in addition to the rumoured Nick Moran film.

Let's hope this is in addition to the rumoured Nick Moran film. That's why I put the (s) in the thread title. The Nick Moran movie was mentioned in Now magazine, wasn't it?

That's right, the current (4th Dec) issue.
Unless they got their films mixed up?

That's right, the current (4th Dec) issue. Unless they got their films mixed up? A celebrity magazine getting it's facts mixed up? Not a chance! Anyway, speaking of magazines, this one appears to be doing a regular feature on the progress of the film... www.visimag.com/uk/acatalog/VI_Direct_Catalogue_Ultimate_DVD_2006_219.htmlI think they have PDFs of this in the press section of the Footsoldier official site.

I hope you don't mind, but I made a thread about this on the Fakers. I gave you due credit for the find though.

Ah, so it's not fiction then. It's based on a real character.
I don't recognize the actor who is going to play Carlton Leach, but he's obviously been in quite a lot previously.
It seems a bit hairy to be still looking for cast members a few days before they begin shooting, but they probably know what thet are doing? ;D

February). Are you going to audition?

It's all quiet from her Management. No doubt things would have been said behind the scenes. Also no confirmation will be issued until the time is right for Ash and her management. Things seem to be dragging on but maybe this is down to stragey, and there maybe issues Ash is sorting in her private life. I hope things are well in her private life in view of the trouble that she has had. I can see they have started slating her on DS again already about the rumours of the film role.....I won't go on. She hasn't even confirmed anything, I hope there is an announcement about her radio stuff looking forward to that. I would have thought she would have naturally progressed towards that direction, more than anything else.
I can't believe I am still hooked, I guess I just want to see that she gets something respectable and steady within showbiz where she can shine enjoy herself and pay her bills.

Exactly mich007.
I think Ash's great strength is that she seems to have her feet firmly planted on the ground. She's not letting all of this go to her head. She's treating it all as a business opportunity. An exciting one, obviously, but work nonetheless.
I think it also helps that she was on the fringe of this industry before BB, so she knows the ropes to a certain extent. Someone such as Nikki might imagine themselves to be a Movie Star because they had a few lines in a niche market film. Ash will be more realistic.

Why haven't we heard anything yet? I'm splitting pins over here!
No, seriously, it's been very quiet. Anyone have any new news?
