I hope a female wins it too since it's been men for the past 2 years I wanted Maria to win last year's itll b like this this yr - sharon: groups simon:16-24 and louis: 25+ and sharon wil win with the groups According to inside info, Sharon did get the groups this year but wasn't happy with them so she swapped with Louis for the 25 and overs. |

I want leona or Ashley to win. I really want a girl in the final because there has never been a girl in the final 3 of the x factor. Series 1 was tabby (i think), G4 and steve

Im not so sure I am convinced by the X Factor contestants this year.. by that I mean I am not excited by anyone..( OO...ER! ;D) Ben has the best credentials to deal with the Music Business as he has trodden the boards a fair deal already so in some ways he deserves a chance..though I am not blown away...mmmmmm... Leona is everyones favourite seemingly and I know she makes the right noises on the surface of it, but she does not deliver the passion or come across as connected to the audience..so I have trouble with her too..I also dislike the practised wobbly lipped falsettos..they do my head in..overdone, overmarketed..bored..  Ray is an outright star regardless of the tactless remarks the panel make about him..he is,nt a pop star I thoroughly agree on that but he has all round Entertainment Showbiz written all over him and he has a great future.. God where are the really sassy blow me away performers these days.... ( ..goes back to sleep...).. |

Leona does it for me, great talent and such a humble attitude. This country needs someone like her to fly the flag for Britain in America. Ben is okay but a tad arrogant imo not my cup of tea personally, but he is talented. Ray does not do it for me. His first song was o swing I mean ok he sung it well. I don't like his dancing, it's not believable imo. I can see him in theatre and panto. He could win I imagine he has the female vote and I think he will have a strong particular male following as well. Then again the Macs could do it. The thing is millions of people vote but when it comes to buying the record only a small percentage of those people commit. I'd like Leona to win, Ben could do it, the Macs and Ray are outsiders but it's anyones game. Who said its about talent........

I'd like to see Ben and Leona in the final. I'm not sure who I prefer out of the two of them, though.
Ray is great fun but he's more fun-factor than X-factor, for me. The MacDonalds occasionally put on a decent performance but most of the time I don't like their efforts at all. Simon was spot on when he called the first song 'Dreary'.
It's a bit ominous that Ben was in the bottom two. Ray or the MacDonalds in the final would be pretty pointless, IMO.

Leona has been going from strength to strength. I'm even starting to revise my opinion of Ray - the last two weeks he's put in some pretty credible vocal performances. If Ben doesn't raise his game he could find himself out of the final Regards Julian |

Well three acts left and not much time to go. I think Ray is the all round performer and money machine though I know not everyone is going to agree.
The thing is he has more sides to him and plenty of ways to skin his cat in life. He can and has acted in top soaps, can sing / dance and will be more than capable of chat show hosting and childrens Tv if needs be. Ray has a hundred ways to make money and in every way is a winner. Neither Leona or Ben will bring this guaranteed value for money ability that Ray has.
Ben is great but he is a rock muso and he will fly high or stay on a moderate plane. Hes done good but he has few sides and this is a commercial market existance we live in. Ben even if he won will have to work very hard to capture ultimate attention from the public..do I think he has that ..no I dont.
Leona she is the amazing little singer with brilliant talent. She can sing. That is all. I dont think she has that alround likeable lovable and charismatic quality that you need to create longevity.
I hope she goes far as I do Ben. My choice for the someone this time round with genuine X.Factor qualities would be Ray. To me he is like Ready Salted crisps. You will always remember him.

I can see Ray has charisma and likeability but that sort of things is pretty irrelevant when it comes to what CD's I like to listen to. A lot of the CD's in my collection feature artists who I've never seen outside the picture on the CD cover! In some cases I don't know what they look like at all I like Ray but I really can't see myself buying his CD's. I think Ray already has the market sewn up when it comes to live performances but live performances don't sell records and finding someone who can sell records is, I believe, the point of the show. As far as I'm concerned Ray vs. Leona is a one-sided contest when it comes to musical talent and musical talent is, IMO, what the final should be judged on. Just my opinion... Regards Julian |
