This is the place to post your comments about the forum. So if you're unhappy about anything, please tell us. Anything goes. Even campaigns to bring back the pink colour scheme.

In the 'Ask Ash' section, could we have a rule that you start a new thread for each question, so Ash gets the chance to answer them if she wishes? They do that on Michelle Bass's forum and Michelle comes in every so often and goes through them. Obviously any completely unsuitable ones are quietly disposed of before she gets a chance to see them. Interminable proposals of marriage might get a bit tedious. ;D Sorry macca.

Good idea, I'll make a sticky thread with some rules.

When Aisleyne met up with Michelle Bass a few weeks ago (to a certain amount of concern in some minds I think) one of the things I hoped that MB would advise Ash to do was to have a website something like hers, because it seems to do a lot of the right things, like the Q&A, and the diary and all that kind of thing. I don't mean copy the design or plagiarise it in any way, but generally there are some good pointers there. Of course I know that Officially Aisleyne will have much much more, but as Chairman Mao said, "the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step".

I have been looking at the Michelle Bass forum, hence the slightly similar colour scheme. ;D

Ive been having a think and it occurred to me that if there was a possibility that Ais was to visit the forum occasionally..do you think we could put up our own 'Problem Thread'. I dont know how realistic that is obviously but she was a great counsellor in the house and it might be fun to get an answer even if its just a line..We have an ask Ais thread but its questioning 'her' and not the same thing... anyway ..

My concern with that would be the risk of reducing traffic to Aisleyne's more mag address, which we want to be as high as possible to cement her place there, And we wouldn't want to upset more mag if they saw it as a "rival column". If some kind of sponsored cross-linking could be arranged with more mag, that would be a different matter altogether!

We have much less traffic here than there would be at More Mag When More Mag are fed up with Aisleyne we will always be here as that is what being a Fan is about. I think it is just as useful to establish everything possible with this site being as it will be THE Official Fansite . It should be hosting as much information and interesting features as possible. Nobodys popularity lasts forever. I tend to look at the long term. Even though I am a Faker through to the bone, I respect this site will be the HOME of Aisleyne in the future. Everything to do with Aisleyne should be right here regardless of what else is out there..IMO..and as much as possible, with her other fansites too. Please dont mind my contradictory viewpoint.. nothing personal.

There may be the distinct possibility that Aisleyne's More column might contain a link to the new website in future. So we'll wait until that happens before a new board is created.

Hi Odm, No problem - I didn't consider your viewpoint was especially contradictory to mine anyway. And maringo's post gives the authoritative answer to both of us, n'est ce pas (that's french for innit, innit?)

WARNING: This post is quite literally iconoclastic.
Could I request that members show some restraint in the pictures they put into their signatures? Could I even request that the staff members consider imposing some rules or technical constraints in this area?
I realise that this will be seen as the vilest heresy by some, in that, shock horror, I am actually advocating a reduction in the promulgaton of images of Aisleyne. I defend myself by pointing out that anyone who has read my posts here and on TA will know that I yield to no-one in my advocacy of Aisleyne's supreme affinity with the camera, so I rebut any charges that I should be burnt at the stake.
It just seems that some over-enthusiastic members are now filling our screens (and clogging our connections) with large pictures attached to, in some cases, one line posts. This makes reading posts more difficult, and slows things up terribly. Some members (not me) may also have erm NSFW considerations also?
Come on, guys, we know who you support, this IS an Aisleyne fan-site. Can we keep the forum for discussion, and view those wonderful pics in circumstances under our own control. You've got the avatar space, have fun picking your fave pic and putting it there, eh?
I realise I am now a grumpy old man to everyone, and a blasphemous heretic to some, but I'm sorry, I just had to make my point and trust others will either agree, or at least disagree without accusing me of disloyalty or worse!
Help, I can smell the tar and feathers already!

Ofni, I'll look into your signature concerns and will get back to you soon. Other forum members, please don't tar and feather him in the meantime. ;D

Oh dear.
Odm, if you mean your little Christmas animated graphic, that wasn't in my mind at all.
empty, you're quite right to say that your pics are of modest proportions, I was really referring to some rather larger displays that have started to appear recently. I wouldn't want to upset you for anything.
I guess opinions on this issue depend on whether you're high church, presbyterian or taliban?
