I think we should set up a poll for this accolade, to recognise those fans who have gone beyond the call of duty to show support for Aisleyne during the momentous year of 2006.
I wish to nominate the following for their support of Aisleyne:
Big Momma - for her outstanding dedication and duty to the cause on the Digital Spy BB forum, in creating the legendary 'Operation Aisleyne Winner of BB7' thread on June 17, which is still going strong today, with over 12,000 posts and almost 500,000 views. Despite a brief ban from the DS moderating team (the swines!) she held sway and ignored occasional hostile visitors, handing out badges and zappers and kicking the in-house jukebox into action to keep the fans going.
Dogtired - for her efforts in establishing the FAKERS website and forum, a spin off from the FAKERS support group on the official Channel 4 forum and generating the highest number of registered users and threads on a very busy and opinionated forum. She has also diligently fought against the hatterz who have tried to inflitrate the board on occasion.
Fenixx - Creator and co-admin of TeamAisleyne and its associated forum, TalkAisleyne. This very professional looking site began life during BB as a support resource for all the A-Team members from the DS boards.
Tillybud - For helping to build TeamAisleyne/LoveAisleyne up with dedicated efforts in the fields of scanning and research. Tilly has provided more Ash stuff than probably anyone else and spent a small fortune acquiring copies of More, Nuts and the Daily Star - most likely not her usual reading material!
Clash - for actually getting to meet Aisleyne (lucky blighter), and providing extensive research to dig up old photos and Youtube videos of her in action, which would otherwise have probably gone unnoticed.

Just looking in for 10 minutes and spotted this thread. I would like to say well done to all on the list of honour but for me there is only one person I could nominate and that is DOGTIRED. I have posted alongside her since Aisleyne stepped out of the box and I have seen her efforts beating off the offending haterz. At one point we almost lost DT too and I remember putting a thread on BBGEN to get her to come back and fight the good fight..and she did.  I genuinely adore DT however that sounds because she is a woman with unflinching support of Aisleyne and provided a forum for us all to slip away to that we could discuss Aisleyne without the Haterz. Following that she then provided the Fakers Forum. People do not realise DT has an extreme heavy workload and yet she still comes onto the forum and supports Ais as well as answers questions and joins in with all the discussions. I have so much respect for Dogtired. In a way, I am glad I have had the chance to publicly state what a wonderful woman she is. |

Yeah lets do a poll, i love you all and you've done great jobs in your dedication for Aisleyne but my vote will be for...tillybud. Just because if it wasn't for her scans i wouldn't know what you guys where talking about half the time as i became a bit ill over the past few weeks and couldn't really go out to buy the mags, so TB helped a lot there, and also because she sent me nice PMs asking if i felt welcome enough on the forum, i often don't post due to a little shyness so she wanted to make sure i was alright an i just thought that was really nice of her, plus her dedication to TeamAisleyne along with Fenixx is unique not just with the scans but the blogs, the news and everything els as well, thats why i'm voting for her However you all deserve THE FAN OF THE YEAR AWARD so whoever wins i’ll be happy with. |

everyone is great but out of those lot my joint vote goes to BigMomma and Fenixx for positively promoting aisleyne on ds.
However, one person not on that list who I would like to mention is Becki, who deserves alot of praise. Becki has constantly been slagged of on ds by aisleyne dislikers who seem to think she is wrong to see Aisleyne as a role model and because she is younger than most Aisleyne fans, try to put her off Aisleyne. However, Becki has stood firm and always posted positively about Aisleyne and has always said how much she respects Aisleyne. She has refused to be drawn in by those people.

I'm not sure I agree with a Fan of the Year award because that means there's only one winner and I think a lot of people deserve acclaim for one reason or another.
All of the admin and moderators of the various Aisleyne sites give up their time to help make these forums great places to visit and post in and I wouldn't want to have to single people out.
I think anyone discerning enough to be a fan of Aisleyne is worthy of an award anyway ;D

Awwww, Saj, thanks so much. Your a star Its gonna look fishy now but i nominate Saj. I know him from DS, and every post of his was full of praise for Ash. Every single one was supporting Aisleyne. He has supported Aisleyne since she first went into Big Brother, i have never heard him say a bad word about her. He was always voting, making sure she didnt leave the house. And when it came to the final, he was always checking the odds at the bookies, and telling me the latest. I just want to nominate him because i know for a fact that in 10 years time, he will still be supporting Aisleyne in whatever she does. And to me, thats a true fan. xx Also, EddyBee. Has always supported Aisleyne. When people have started to post negative stuff about Aisleyne, i get all annoyed. But EddyBee always seems to make me smile, and sends me pm's, which mean a lot to me. he stops me going down to their level. He's a big part of DS because his posts are always lovely to read, his support for Aisleyne is just amazing. xx |

I think Becki deserves an award for all she has gone through from some truly awful people on DS, the most recent one being when she started a "Ash best housemate ever" thread and some people were truly revolting to her because she is young !!!!?
In my opinion Becki has picked a great role model in Aisleyne, who is a kind, warm, compassionate human being (how unusual in BB7) and she has shown a lot more maturity and balanced thought than some of the people twice her age or whatever on DS.
Dont ever ever worry what the "bitter hearts" say! Go Becki!
