Yes folks it's that time again another day another poll. As you may well know that CBB is only a few days away, and some of us are still BB7 junkies. The question is why are we still here.  What draws us to Ash. For me it is the prospect of seeing her career blossom on radio and TV (hopefully non-adult stuff) I really saw Ash as a role model in the house. I hope some of the TV companies can see her potential and help her to build up a profile on TV say like Cat Deeley or Myleene Klass. Some may say that I am being unrealistic but Ash said she wants more TV work...... That's why I am still here for now..... Here's hoping  P.S |

I just think Ash is ace! I admire her because shes been through so much but look at her now, shes a star, and she always will be She has an amazing personality and is gorgeous! It isnt fair!!! |

She's Something Else! Nice one I grew to love Aisleyne for the kind of person she is rather than what she does. I'd love her to remain in the public eye because I'm now invested in her. I want to know what happens to her, I want to see that she gets the success she deserves at whatever she chooses to do. None of the items listed draw me to Aisleyne any more than I was already drawn. Even if she faded into obscurity I'd still be drawn to her (not that it would do me much good in that case!). Hopefully she'll be around for a while yet ;D Regards Julian |

For me it is simply that Ais is an 'Everyday Woman'...she does,nt pretend to be anything she is not..she is herself all the time..I think of Ais as a natural woman...there nothing fake about her whatsoever...so for me...its like the fakers have said...she keeps it real.  |

And who can ask more of anyone than that?
I still follow her now probably because I want to see a nice person get the good things she deserves. I still cannot believe how much hatred she gets from some quarters and every bit of nastiness I read on DS makes me more certain that I am right about Ash and they are wrong.
Maybe I'm biased, but from what I've seen and read on Digital Spy, it seems to me that the "nice people" support Ash and the spiteful ones are drawn to certain other HMs!!

I think you are right we saw qualities on Big Brother that made you realise she didn't deserve the backlash she was on the receiving end of. I really had hoped she would receive some high profile offers, when she came out of the house but it seems that the direction she has gone in is so typical to a lot of girls who go on BB. Maybe it's just for the time being who knows. Honestly speaking she has never said she was better than this stuff like some other x-housemate I could name. She has great qualities but unfortunately woman who do the sort of stuff she's doing at the mo are scorned upon in general and it tarnishes their profile.  IMO I know there are those on here who will disagree with me. That said I will never take anything away from Ash for the way she stood up to the real bullies/bitches in the house. I admire her for that I truly do. |

I have not voted in this poll because it does not include a category that adequately expresses my views. In addition, reading the posts on the this forum of the person who constructed the poll, I'd say that voting for "Something else" might be interpreted as a criticism.
My only concern is that I am able to keep track of what Ash is doing. There would be nothing worse than not knowing what she is doing. I would not mind it if Ash had said that she'd decided to keep out of the limelight, go to college, etc. However, as she has decided to cash in by playing the fame game, I want to see her photo in magazines.
Both Ash and her fans have to have realistic expectations. I'm sure Ash has already earned far more money than most of the ex-HMs and if nothing else arises from her BB experience, she will at least have some money to pursue other avenues. She doesn't need to decide her long-term future now. As far as I can tell, there is still money to be made from the so-called 15 minutes of fame.
If she really is serious about pursuing a career in the media, Ash would have to do something about her public-speaking nerves. There are courses that you can go on for these kind of things. Quite a few captains of industry need special training of this nature. A friend of mine has just been made Finance Director of a big UK plc and, until recently, had to take prescribed drugs every time he had to make a speech in public. After a few session with a public speaking trainer, he's now able to do it without the drugs.

The other thing that I liked about Aisleyne was the fact that she STOOD UP for people when they were being brought down unfairly. She also confronted people when she felt they were in the wrong. Her qualities were REAL . Unfortunately, these qualities are not within everybody, and that reason alone would always draw me to Ais as she is not afraid to say and be what she is...and she is no coward.
..If others were like that, just think what a fairer place we would all inhabit.
