It is the only press about Aisleyne that I have been dissapointed in. I only hope it is lazy journalism and that Aisleyne's input was minimal.

It's the issue dated 8 Jan 2007, maringo. It's one of a number of pics on a double page spread of celebs dancing, and the caption writer clearly doesn't know much, because they make the ludicrous suggestion that Aisleyne is studying La Loos to learn some moves from her! Duh!

Yes mich, I'm more concerned about the effect too many of these kinds of articles might have on Aisleyne's image and standing than any amount of topless photos.

Yes indeed - I guess they want to include "celebs of the moment" as often as poss, and don't mind using old pics to get them included. The fact that its the 2nd time in 3/4 weeks that Ais has appeared in that section of "Sunday" mag backs this up, I think.

I'm not that concerned really. Nikki's "escort girl" revelation (which was far worse than this) in the NOTW didn't exactly harm her image and standing.

I think it's just a case of tailoring the approach depending on the demographic. News of the World readers like that stuff so Aisleyne gives them what they like. It's standard practice for glamour models to talk dirty. I suspect it increases circulation amongst the readership of those kinds of publications (no pun intended ) and increases the demand for more Nuts shoots etc.

I suspect that people likely to think less of her for such comments are probably not a high proportion of NotW's readership

That's because Nikki denied that anything happened, and they believed her. Aisleyne has to work harder than Nikki to clear her name. In the house she was consistently labelled a fake and called nasty names like ghetto H* tras*lene etc some people would just not let up. They still go on about it up until now. Nikki acts inappropriately it is excused by Endemol as funny and they make her their princess. (Also Nikki doesn't touch that sort of stuff now) She is building up a profile that will enable her to get into TV probably something with kids. At the end of the day it's all about how Ash wants to be portrayed if she is happy with being presented in the papers like this there is nothing that those of us who think better of her can do. It's weird but I kind of feel like . It's like someone dissing my little sister and I can't help because this is what she wants to do and she is prepared to take all the crap that comes with it. But that's just me the sort of person I am.

I have a lot of sympathy for the way you feel Mich and I also think you have put across some well worded valuable points.

Let me first say that my overall attitude is that Ais will do what she wants, we both know that anyway so its cool with me what she decides.

BUT, I am inclined to take on board everything you have said mainly because like you and others I did spend all of my Summer having to fend off the most horrendous attitudes from people just as though Ais was my own family. I just thought it was disgusting what people called her and how she was written about in general...unless anybody was actually caught up in that rainstorm then they cannot know how some of the more passionate of people may feel..

What needs to be taken into account is that Aisleyne appealed to women for DIFFERENT reasons than she is now coming across which is obvious. She is currently more of a Lads calender girl at this precise moment...beautiful, gorgeous, but still more of deep interest to the men more than the women in her current choice of actions.

I think the women expected other things and admired Ais strength of character..but sometimes a strong character can make other people expect too much of you ...and sometimes it is not easy to deliver what is expected either...

Ais has said there are things in the pipeline. I think it is important to wait to see what the new plans that are hidden for now are....

I love Aisleyne, but as much as I do, even I would not put naked pictures of Ais up...its not natural for me...
The lads mag route and naked route will not endear Aisleyne to all of her fans and she certainly will lose some of the female ones. (It has already lit the fuse of the Haterz, but they never shutup anyway. ) This however may be balanced up by a bigger surge of Male fans.
I think it all boils down to how as an individual you look at all this. I know many female fans have turned the other way now...but the Male interest has increased, I think that is a natural conclusion. Jordan is basically of MALE INTEREST. I like Jordan and admire her but I would,nt go on her fansite if you paid me..as I am not interested..past the fact that I would compliment her for a business brain.

I think Aisleyne has to remember that people really love her and that from small acorns big oak trees grow. She needs to take a risk and take a little control and push for other avenues.

Thanks for your comments ODM most of which I agree with and yes her support/fan base will change. I am sure Ash knows that this business is fickle and if I was her big sister I would tell her to thread carefully and choose what she does wisely to protect her future. I would also say that agents are out to make a mint naturally they will want to capitalize on Ash's sexuality, it's easy money for them if you ask me. However it's good that Ash doesn't have all her eggs in one basket, so her agent see's her potential outside of glamour as well

I have to say that I personally am not a fan of Jordan. I think she was wise to invest her money and word has it she is worth a millions. However, I don't like the way she has sold out, it's as if she has sold her soul to the media. She's in the papers mags almost every day rarely out of the public eye. The Christmas editon of OK dedicated most of the mag to her and Pete (boring I thought) Surely it can't be about the money anymore perhaps she's just a needy person. She appears to have had a good child hood correct me if I am wrong so I don't know what it's all about. Maybe she's an attention seeking junkie/addict. If I had kids I would not want Jordan to be their role model sorry. Yes she got lucky, but there are many who will try to emulate her who will fall on the scrap heap suffering horrendus experiences along the way and we won't even hear about it.

That said the two things I would say in Jordan's favour is that she appears to be a very loving mother it can't be easy having a child with a disability, and she appears to have put her money to use wisely.
