I take it, empty, you are responding to Aisleyne's question in her latest diary entry today. I agree, Aisleyne looks as staggeringly beautiful as ever in that photo, and the crystal bikini is truly a work of art (especially with Aisleyne in it!). As discussed on another thread, Ash seems to have slimmed down just a bit more, and her body in this pic is quite simply spectacular, and I would say perfect for both glamour AND fashion modelling purposes. So pleease, Aisleyne, no more talk of further boob jobs!)
I do think, though that the heel-holding pose looks a little uncomfortable, and Aisleyne's expression seems to reflect that somewhat.
Essentially, I wouldn't say this one of the iconic images, like the Trilby pic from the More shoot, or some of the Nuts2 ones, or even one of the recent Screen Siren Closer pics. Aisleyne has an almost magical affinity with the camera, but I don't think the photographer here has really captured the full potential of that magic. Sorry Aisleyne, I'm only trying to follow your principle of "keeping it real". YOU look sensational, but this picture only captures a little of that special quality you have in front of the camera. The camera loves you, but maybe this camera is a little shy to say it loud enough?
(Keep digging, ofni, if you're lucky maybe the earth will swallow you up soon!)

I do hope, though, that Aisleyne is aware of some of the concerns expressed in this thread, either through reading it herself, or by being briefed by Claire, who has indicated as much in her post.

Of course. I wasn't suggesting for one moment that the discussion was silly, just that the article was.

Hi All, Just been reading your posts re. NOTW. Its pretty normal when buying glamour type shots that the paper want a few comments to go alongside& turn it into more of a feature. Different publications know what their readers want to hear and therefore tailor the comments towards that. Pretty innocent flyaway comments can result in 'The truth about my sex life' type exposes!! Am sure Ash will let you all know her exact words will alert her to the general reaction! Hey Claire, thanks for joining and letting us know!

Ofni you have made some very excellent comments on the NOTW thread..just thought I would tell you... Thanks odm. Looking over this thread again from the start, I'm a little puzzled by Aisleyne's diary comment that I see that among the first few posts, a number of complimentary comments were made about the pictures, before we all got stuck into the debate on the words. Maybe Claire would be so kind as to point out these posts to Aisleyne to reassure her that the pictures were indeed commented on and appreciated.

I too agree with some that we shouldn't go overboard about this - it isn't as though Ais has sold her soul to the devil. There is undoubtadly a "lads / Sun readers" market which Ais has to exploit by appearing "fruity", but that doesn't in itself define her or her future direction. As the Michelle Bass fan said, the same things happened with her (and to an even greater extent Sam Heuston from BB6 who at times has shown incredibly poor judgement, but has still come out "the other side"). Don't give up on Ais - she has a remarkable way of surprising us when we perhaps least expect it. Bengos.... I am looking at your Avatar... ...lol

I'm glad that Claire has read this thread and is aware of the concerns that some of us have, and will be relaying them to Aisleyne. It's a pity though that she (Claire) won't have witnessed, or read the comments about, the thing we're not allowed to mention.

A very creative and imaginitive use of snowflakes in that Xmas photo. I wonder who actually got to errrrr you know.....place them in their correct location.

I agree with a lot of what you say ofni. This is not the Aisleyne from BB7 we got to love and know at all. She's a great girl and we love her for who she is. She is not a Michelle Bass. I'm sure of it. Michelle Bass is not a Michelle Bass by that token This is serious deja-vu for me because, as a Michelle Bass fan I've heard all the same arguments and concerns before. As fans we grew to love Michelle for who she was on BB, hoping to see more of her on TV or more of the upmarket and romantic photo-shoots in OK magazine etc. When it became clear that she was pursuing a glamour career there were a lot of people who found it hard to continue their support, a lot of people worried that it would fuel the haters or prevent her from finding other work. We're several years on from that now, most of her fans stayed loyal and Michelle is still going strong and we're hearing exciting things are in the pipeline so I have every expectation that Aisleyne can do at least as well. Ofni's right, though. I didn't become a fan of Aisleyne because of her looks or her tendency to wear thongs a lot and I don't think that many of the 'lads' who are only interested in such things would bother to join a fan forum. Obviously, as a guy I can enjoy her appearances in Nuts more than her female fans but it's her personality that really impressed me and I'd much rather have an opportunity to see more of her personality than more glamour shoots. On the other hand, what I want most for Aisleyne is success and if that comes from the world of Glamour modelling then that's fine by me, as long as she's happy Regards Julian I saw Michelle Bass in some old highlights last night. It brought everything back about what I loath about her. For me Aisleyne was everything about a woman who was in touch with her body and not afraid to show it off without it being pornographic. She has never given off that image. That was Lea. Lea may be getting work now, but at what cost. She has sacrificed her son's wellbeing for fame and fortune. There is a big difference in what we saw in the house of Aisleyne and this article. I apologise to all Michelle Bass fans but I am pretty convinced this new turn in direction of Ais's is a direct result of hanging out with that woman. Best thing Ais could do now is distance herself from her.

Emma, while I share your feelings about some of the content of this NOTW article, I don't think things are quite the way you say. I don't see any "new turn in direction" here, and I really don't think that Michelle Bass has anything to do with it at all. Aisleyne, as we all know, is perfectly capable of making her own mind up about things.
However you or I may feel about it, glamour modelling was clearly her intention from Day1 and she is now right in the top rank of glamour models, while also doing other kinds of modelling very successfully too. I'm sure she made her own mind up about the topless option, and I really don't see any big deal there. Lots of previous articles from More to Nuts to Daily Star have contained more information than I care to know, but that, it seems, is the name of the game. Claire has indicated what happened with this NOTW stuff.
I hope and trust that Aisleyne has made and will continue to make a good living from this activity. unless and until other opportunities present themselves. The sooner the other things come along the better for my taste, but meanwhile let's understand realistically what Aisleyne is doing - I think it's called "the Art of the Possible".
As you say, Aisleyne has been quite clear during BB7 and since about how she feels about her body. I just want to hear about other aspects of her life and realtionships to the equivalent level of detail to the chocolate/pineapple/5X/15X etc etc that we keep hearing about!

I agree with ofni. I think Ash's current focus on the glamour arena is all to do with her and BP's decisions and has nothing to do with Michelle.
As a Michelle Bass fan I hope she and Ash are friends, but I don't see any evidence of the talked about mentoring, unless it's all happening in private.
I know Michelle always said that she wanted to be a glamour model, but she didn't really do any until last year, and she's shelved it for the moment to concentrate on music opportunities.
I also hope that Ash and her management have their sights set on other areas aside from glamour. But if glamour is all that's on offer, I won't be averting my gaze any time soon.

Sorry, there has been some confusion about what I wrote which may be my fault. I don't have a problem with glamour modelling. I wouldn't have supported Ais in the first place if I did. I was meaning the NOTW article.
I'm just worried about her association with Michelle Bass, who had sex under a table on national TV, and other woman who have profitted in such a sleazy way. I think there is a line between glamour modelling and that sort of thing and porn.
I'm afraid that that is an opinion I have that I don't think anyone can change. But I will always support Ais no matter what she chooses to do.
